SMP in Bialystok, Poland Over thirty years ago SMP Poland Ltd. headquartered in Bialystok, Poland began manufacturing ignition coils for original equipment manufacturers.  Since then SMP Poland’s product line and manufacturing has broadened to include a full range of switches and sensors and glow plugs. A recent expansion now includes plug top coils, pencil coils and new type of sensors manufactured for both the OEM and OES market segments.  Our Bialystok facility is TS16949 certified and serves as a basic design and engineering centre for ignition coils, switches and sensors and glow plugs with vertically integrated manufacturing. 100% factory testing in our quality control laboratory offers the full spectrum of measurement and life testing in addition to a full range of environmental analysis that includes thermo shock, thermo cycling, salt spray, vibration, and storage tests.   Our unique capabilities at SMP Poland allow us to serve a wide variety of markets - OE and OES and our recent expansion into co-manufacturing and basic global aftermarket distribution. This is in addition to our support of the Agricultural, Industrial and Heavy equipment markets with customers such as CNH, Perkins, Caterpillar, JCB or others.  The future brings continued development of our ignition coil product line as well as new switches and sensors so that we are able to support growth in both OE and Aftermarket segments.
