Standard Motor Products, Inc., Technical Training division is located in Irving,
TX where we have a well-equipped, 14,000 square foot real-world corporate training
facility dedicated to automotive education and technical training. The corporate
training center offers on-site programs as well as in-the-field professional technician
seminars.

The advanced, hands-on training courses are conducted at SMP’s Corporate Training
Center in Irving, Texas. The facility contains the latest in temperature control
diagnostic equipment, electronic scan tools, and engine management diagnostic equipment.

SMP Technical Training is recognized as the best in the industry having won numerous
customer and industry awards. The “Masters Series” Engine Management Technician
Training Programs and TCD Advanced Temperature Control Diagnostic Strategies Training
taught by nationally recognized automotive trainers provide advanced diagnostic
and systems training to thousands of technicians. During 2008, SMP trained over
9,500 technicians through nearly 300 seminars on 29 different engine management
topics.

that are available through SMP brand websites. Counter Person Training provides
