We are mindful of this responsibility and endeavor to consider the environmental impact from the outset with a dedication to innovative and accountable engineering driving efficient and green manufacturing processes. We have found that these practices can in fact be cost-effective while maintaining and building loyalty as evidenced several of our recent initiatives involving hybrid technology and alternative fuel systems. We strive to conserve our natural resources and minimize waste through innovative engineering and efficient manufacturing processes. These include a commitment to recycling and environmental responsibility as evidenced by a number of SMP business units receiving the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 Certificate of Registration.
